ACQUA MINERALE CALIZZANO FONTI BAUDA
Raw material of excellence
BASANOTTO
BASANOTTO chose Calizzano mineral water!
Calizzano mineral water was selected as the main ingredient for the preparation of the Basanotto, the famous liquor of the Ligurian inland by Origine Liquori Vallebormida and mainly containing basil, sage and Slow Food-certified Savona Chinotto, as well as alcohol, cane sugar, lemon peel, mint, and Calizzano – Fonti Bauda mineral water.
Following a maceration process, the ingredients of the Basanotto are filtered and left to rest to reach the ideal aroma.
What initially strikes the nose is the citrusy scent of the lemon and chinotto, followed by herbal notes of basil and sage and, finally, the freshness of the mint. It is delicate and velvety on the palate, with a pleasantly persistent finish where the citrus fruit and herbs boast an excellent taste-smell consistency.
It is exceptional either straight, with ice or as a base for other cocktails.
M'INCHINOTTO
M’INCHINOTTO wants Calizzano mineral water!
Following its partnership with Basanotto, Calizzano mineral water was chosen, given its top-notch purity, for the preparation of M’inchinotto, the brand-new Ligurian liquor by Origine Liquori Vallebormida containing grain alcohol, Italian beetroot sugar, caramel (for sweetening purposes), lemon juice, Slow Food-certified Savona Chinotto, natural orange extract and Calizzano – Fonti Bauda mineral water. After the maceration and filtering process, M’inchinotto is left to rest to reach its final, most enjoyable taste.
It embraces the nose with the typical scent of the chinotto peel and its intense, persistent citrus notes. On the palate, it resembles the classic chinotto-based soft drinks, managing to balance the dominant bitterness with the sweet orange taste.
It is exceptional either straight, with ice or as a base for other cocktails.
CASA FIORINI
Casa Fiorini and Calizzano mineral water: the unison of two examples of Ligurian excellence.
Calizzano mineral water has sealed a partnership with Casa Fiorini for the production of an exclusive bronze-cut pasta, which our precious water makes lighter, purer and more flexible.
The Casa Fiorini artisanal pasta producer was born in 1967 in Varazze (Savona), and is specialized in fresh and dried pasta, tomato sauce and traditional Ligurian ready-made sauces.
Ethical: the company uses, in part, local ingredients produced by trusted partners and whose properties it highlights without the addition of preservatives, colourings, or other chemical products.
Artisanal: the pasta producer owes its excellence to the refined production techniques leveraging manual skill, patience, and ancient methods such as bronze cutting to make the pasta authentic, delightful, healthy and wholesome.
Sustainable: since 2020, Casa Fiorini has brought about a series of actions to scale down its carbon footprint. Above all, it has reduced its use of plastic and increased the use of renewable energy.
CHEF RICCHEBUONO
Even Chef Ricchebuono of the prestigious restaurant “Il Vescovado di Noli” chooses the purest water from the Fonti Bauda di Calizzano for his new branded product.
Our company, after the partnership with the historic Varazze pasta factory, is also pleased to announce the collaboration with chef Ricchebuono.
In fact, the starred chef asked Casa Fiorini to make him an exclusive spaghetti for his restaurant.
The spaghetti dough is made exclusively with Acqua Minerale di Calizzano – Fonti Bauda, which gives consistency, elasticity and a unique taste; its shape is elongated with a diameter of 2.3 mm and it is made only with the highest quality flours, selected by the best partners in the sector, without the use of chemicals or preservatives.
